There are many reasons why Dalry is in such high demand from Edinburgh tenants. Here are a few!

Great for professionals – Dalry is perfectly located for tenants working in offices around Edinburgh’s West End. Many of Edinburgh’s businesses have settled around the modern offices located around Lothian Road, Morrison Street and The Exchange so tenants in Dalry can enjoy a short commute to work each day. Dalry is also a great choice for people working in West Edinburgh with a tram stop at Haymarket, and for those working in Glasgow or the West who can jump on the train at Haymarket station.

Handy for students – Edinburgh is home to three Universities and two of these are located in the West of the City. For students studying at Napier or Heriot-Watt, Dalry is in a great location for access via foot (for those based at Merchiston) or by car or bus (for students at Heriot-Watt or those based at one of the other Napier campuses), while still making sure students are close enough to the nightlife that Edinburgh has to offer.

Some local treats – Dalry is home to some fantastic restaurants which have popped up over the last few years. Some of our favourites are; First Coast, Mia Italian Kitchen and Locanda De Gusti. If you’re a curry fan, the area round West Maitland Street and Haymarket is blessed with Indian and Nepalese Cuisine and the Khukari never disappoints. While Dalry is crying out for a neighbourhood bar, fear not as there are some brilliant places to choose from just a short walk towards Haymarket including the Jolly Botanist and Malones bar both of which open up completely to the street on warmer days, perfect for that quick drink in the sunshine on the way home from work.

Loads more in store – Dalry has seen a transformation over recent years and Haymarket and Dalry have effectively merged into one; the area around Haymarket station has been smarted up attracting many new shops, cafes and restaurants linking up the two. Construction is expected to start on the huge mixed use development at  Haymarket in 2019. This will have a significant impact bringing more restaurants, cafes, offices and people to the area, adding to the fantastic experience Dalry has to offer its residents.
