Quartermile is undoubtedly Edinburgh’s most exciting mixed-use development in years and comprises a combination of office, residential and leisure space in the heart of the city. The development has proved to be extremely popular with international investors attracted by the high quality build and finish and the strong yields on offer within this stunning, well-managed development. Over 700 apartments have now been completed and handed over with another 200 or so still to go before all building has been completed by mid-late 2018. Quartermile has also seen a clustering of many of Edinburgh’s most exciting businesses including Skyscanner, Fandual and Circus Logic. The number of properties we manage within Quartermile has been growing over the past 5 years and, following us taking over Quartermile-based letting agent, Edinburgh City Pads towards the end of 2015 the number of properties we manage has risen to over 75. Our team spend so much time within the development so it made sense to open up in the heart of the action.

We’re the only letting agent to have an onsite presence within Quartermile which is a huge benefit to landlords and tenants within the development. Our onsite Quartermile presence has already proved dividends with tenants popping into our office, looking to rent properties at short notice; it’s easy for us to grab the keys and pop ‘upstairs’ to show them what apartments we have to let at that time. Likewise, it means we can be super-responsive to maintenance issues at our Quartermile apartments. Often maintenance problems can be diagnosed simply by one our team inspecting the apartment without having to arrange for a specialist to visit and incurring unnecessary charges. We’ve become experts in topping up boiler pressure!

Over and above all of that, Quartermile is just a fantastic place to be! With our growing team and our increasing number of international clients and property investors, taking on an office within Quartermile was an easy decision. It’s a lovely place to work, among some inspiring businesses and equally inspiring architecture and the development has a fantastic buzz about it which we love being a part of.
