The Role  

This is a dynamic, creative role that puts Umega’s brand and values front and centre. Reporting to our Sales and Marketing Director, you’ll lead our marketing efforts across our three businesses. Your mission: to elevate our brand presence, drive lead generation, and ensure our communications reflect our values. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of marketers and content creators, guiding their work to fuel Umega’s growth.
  • Social Media Leadership: Own and implement our social media strategy, ensuring our voice is consistently loud and clear.
  • Blog and Newsletter Management: Drive our content strategy, manage regular mail campaigns, and coordinate with external suppliers.
  • Marketing Collateral & Ad Hoc Projects: Lead our creative team in maintaining and enhancing assets that resonate with our values. Manage document creation for awards and tenders.
  • Brand Guardianship: Uphold our brand guidelines to keep our message consistent across all platforms.
  • Website Optimization: Ensure our websites are visually appealing and SEO-optimized.
  • Paid Ads Strategy: Develop and execute ad campaigns, working closely with the creative team to make each ad stand out.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Track key metrics, report to the director team, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Local Market Strategies: Design targeted local marketing campaigns based on our high-street branches.

 

What You’ll Bring  

  • A creative, people-focused approach that builds strong relationships within and outside of Umega.
  • Experience leading content creation teams across photography, videography, and design.
  • Expertise in social media and digital marketing, with a solid understanding of SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, and marketing tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make clear, decisive calls.
  • Confidence to work in a fast-paced environment and to ‘manage up’ when needed to keep content consistent and impactful.

Role Details

Part-time, permanent: 3 days per week

Salary: £35,000 – £37,000 pro-rata

Hybrid work location: Blend of office-based work at our North Quarter and Brunswick Street locations, plus remote work options.
