THE ROLE

We’re looking for a bright, energetic and super-organised Office Administrator/Receptionist to join the team in our busy Leith Walk branch. This is a varied and people-facing role that combines front-of-house reception duties with behind-the-scenes administrative support to our growing New Business and Estate Agency teams.

 

RECEPTION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Greeting and assisting clients and visitors to the branch
  • Managing contractor and viewing agent key collections and returns
  • Helping customers with walk-in queries and providing a friendly, solutions-focused service

 

ADMINISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Supporting client onboarding by processing ID checks and legal documentation
  • Inputting customer and property details into our systems with care and accuracy
  • Assisting the team with general administrative tasks to keep things running smoothly
  • Maintaining branch stock and presentation

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • A vibrant and positive personality – someone who enjoys connecting with people
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural flair for customer service
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Confident working with different software systems (although training is provided)
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn

THE DETAILS:

  • Location: Umega Lettings & Estate Agents, Leith Walk, Edinburgh
  • Hours: Full-time (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm) – Job share considered (2 part-time roles)
  • Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 (depending on experience, pro-rata for part-time)
