Tenants looking to Rent a property
We recommend delaying moving if you can until after the C-19 restrictions are lifted. If you need to move before then, we can help. You can read our blog here on how we’ve adapted our services. Tenants with maintenance issues
If you’re a Umega tenant with a maintenance issue, please click here to get some advice on resolving the issue or to report it. We are only able to carry out urgent repairs or those that are absolutely necessary while restrictions are in place.
Tenants worried about paying rent

Outstanding Safety Inspections
We have a duty of care to ensure properties are kept safe and the Scottish Government’s guidance is that we should continue to undertake annual gas safety inspections in all of our properties, where possible. This relies on being able to access the property on the permission of the tenant, and we will work closely with all parties to ensure tenants feel comfortable, gas engineers are taking the necessary precautions, and landlords obligations are fulfilled. Other routine safety certificate renewals can be postponed until current restrictions are lifted, at which time they must be completed as soon as reasonably possible.
