Please send us a STAND OUT cover letter with your application, detailing what you can bring to this role in Team Umega, and why we’d be mad not to hire you! (Applications without covering letters will not be considered).

In 2024 (and beyond), we are continuing to grow our successful Estate Agency business, and we’re on the lookout for a budding photography and videography superstar to help us achieve our ambitious goals. This is a PART-TIME role, working around 22 hours per week. Although we have some flexibility on when you work, you will be visiting properties throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas to capture them for marketing purposes, which will need to be done during daylight hours.

Over the last 15 years, we’ve become one of the biggest agencies in Scotland and one of the top rated in the UK. We’re not your average property business. We do things differently; we work hard, but we have fun while we’re doing it. We’re bold and playful but we always act with integrity and acknowledge our mistakes. We’re ambitious and unafraid – we try new things, we innovate, and whatever the outcomes we’ll enjoy the learning journey and make the most of the ride. We put people at the heart of all we do; that goes for our customers and our team.

The best property marketing in Edinburgh – To honour our ambitions of providing the very best property marketing Edinburgh has to offer, we are looking to hire an ambitious person who is ready and eager to learn. You’ll be willing to push the boundaries, try new things, and share great ideas to help us showcase our properties to the outside world in a unique and eye-catching way!

You’ll be working within our internal marketing team, and alongside our estate agency team, to generate property marketing materials to be used for advertising, and property-related content for our social media and digital channels. You’ll actively contribute to business growth by creating and sharing energetic, engaging content to be used across a variety of adverts and social media platforms, with a specific objective to deliver the highest standard of property marketing content.

Property Marketing and Content Creator Responsibilities:

  • Work to a brief outlined by our estate agency team for the property content to be captured via video and photograph
  • Utilise our Giraffe360 cameras to create digital floorplans and virtual tours of properties to be sold
  • Capture outstanding photo and video content of our properties, and the local area
  • Create high quality marketing materials for our property portfolio, to be used in property advertising, including exciting, attention grabbing video content and walkthroughs of our properties
  • Assist the wider marketing team to create property and people-related content for our social media channels

Apply if you:

  • Are bursting with passion for creating stand-out photo and video content (property experience is not essential)
  • Have an eye for opportunities to capture and create exciting and engaging content
  • Have the creative flair and design capabilities to manage basic video and image production and editing
  • Have a positive energy and strong desire to grow, learn, and continuously improve (we’re in this together and we want to learn with you)
  • Have proven experience managing your own workload and prioritising effectively
  • Are a proactive and energetic team player who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic
  • Want to learn from some brilliant creative minds and technically-gifted teammates within our creative team
  • Love a great working environment and being part of a great team. At Umega it’s our service and our culture that sets us apart. We truly believe in all our staff, and we ensure they are well equipped, supported, trained and developed to succeed in our business, and beyond
  • Are willing to spend some of your time working in our Edinburgh office, although this role will predominantly be mobile, working out of properties across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, and from your own home
  • Are happy to work PART-TIME, 22 hours per week with a work pattern to be agreed, although this will predominantly need to be on a Mon-Fri schedule
  • Hold a driving licence which is valid in the UK – driving is essential in this role
