Umega is an independent Edinburgh business that’s become the top letting agency in the UK. We’ve got here by looking after people and their properties. The number of properties we manage is growing and we’re about to start offering our home repair services to homeowners all over Edinburgh, and we need your help. The home repairs revolution starts here, and the revolution will not be televised. In order to help meet the challenges of repairing people’s homes, we need a team of skilled property maintenance technicians who are personable with excellent communication and customer service skills. We’ll do everything we can to support you by providing you with a van, tools, uniform and smart phone to free you up to take care of the people who rely on us to repair their homes for them. You’ll need a solid DIY skills set and some decent customer service experience because liaising with clients and our team is an important part of the role. You’ll join a fantastic and supportive team. The jobs are varied and the days are never dull. You’ll need to be resourceful, think on your feet and most importantly, look after people. We’re also keen for you to develop your skills so a proactive approach to self-development is also expected.

 

Required Experience:
  • Basic Plumbing skills
  • Basic Electrical
  • Basic Carpentry
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Basic IT & Mobile App Skills
  • A clean driving licence is also essential.
