In 2020 we launched our Estate Agency service, and we’re now on the lookout for a consummate property professional to help us accelerate the expansion of our services to meet growing demand across Scotland. This new role of New Business & Estate Agency Team Manager will lead our New Business & Estate Agency Team to deliver a slick and swift experience to every potential and new client that comes our way, using every opportunity to reach new audiences.

About the Role:

Our New Business Team is responsible for prospecting and responding to all new client leads, assisting investors, conducting marketing appraisals and winning new instructions.  You’ll be spending a fair bit of time out and about – meeting customers at their properties to discuss our services across both Estate Agency and Lettings (a full driving license is therefore a must). You and your team will be at the forefront of first-impressions; representing Umega in all you do and making sure all the customers you come into contact with get a real sense of who we are and what we’re about. A key element of the role is the ability to self-motivate, experiment and get stuck-in, so we’re looking for someone with great instincts and initiative who doesn’t shy away from a challenge, and is always looking for opportunity.  We’re also looking for someone who will lead our stellar New Business & Estate Agency Team from the front – making sure our response time and information is second-to-none, and actively seeking opportunities to continuously improve our service and offering in these areas.  

In this role you will be line-managing our New Business & Estate Agency Team as well as playing an active role in driving our marketing and lead generation strategies forward, so previous management experience and/or business development experience would be highly beneficial. This is a truly unique opportunity to play an integral role in setting our customer relationships up for success and taking our New Business & Estate Agency Team to the next level.

You should be undaunted by data – willing to engage with and understand measures and statistics to really get under the bonnet and understand your team and their output to a deep level. It’s ok if you’ve not done this before as we can teach you how, you just need to bring the energy, enthusiasm and will to dive in – learning and developing your skills as you go.

 

 

We Are Looking For:
  • Someone highly motivated and brimming with ideas about how to boost our lead generation and conversion strategies, and up for playing an active role in the service delivery strategy for the New Business and Estate Agency offerings.
  • Someone with their finger on the pulse of all the goings-on in the property market – you’ll need to build and maintain a solid knowledge and understanding of market trends and competitor offerings and an awareness of changing market dynamics.  
  • Someone who can lead from the front with a focus on making deals happen, hitting targets and pushing for continuous growth.  
  • An active listener who is fully engaged with their team; understanding their needs and working together to ensure continual growth and progression, ultimately leading to improved experiences for colleagues and customers.
  • Confidence to work with people across all levels of the business to plan, problem solve, iron out pain-points and identify ways we can do better by our customers and our team. 
  • A driving license is essential.
