Are you and Umega a perfect match?
We’re looking for an individual who is eager to work in a fast-paced, lively environment, can bring energy and enthusiasm to work every day and who is willing to turn their hand to whatever comes their way as we navigate coming out of lockdown into a busy summer period. You should be an active and supportive team member, be experienced working in a fast-moving environment, and be exceptionally confident dealing with a wide variety of customers.
Our New Tenancy Team work hard to secure properties for the many potential tenants who reach out to us. This team handles all new tenancy enquiries, manages and supports tenants through the referencing process, conducts viewings, negotiates and finalises the let and produces all the supporting legal documentation to secure the tenancy. It’s one of the busiest areas of our business, so speed and responsiveness are key, as is the ability to think on your feet and act quickly. This role will primarily be focused on handling a variety of enquiries over the telephone, and responding to or allocating high volumes of email enquiries, as well as supporting tenants during the initial stage of their tenancy applications.
You may also be asked to assist with further administration to support the New Tenancy Team, and when our office reopens you will also be required to work on our reception desk and assist with a variety of enquiries there. This role is temporary from May – end August 2021, but permanent opportunities are highly likely to be available to the right candidate.
